Since The Artist just can't leave it alone

Lamest post I've read in awhile.

You guys need to get over yourselves. I was as frustrated with the situation, but I was not on my "high horse".

I am 100% (ONE HUNDRED PERCENT) sure that if fans from another school would have been in the same situation and acted how many of you had, you will be blasting them.

So yes, it is still embarrassing how many people chose to express their reactions. Is anybody else starting to realize why Xavier isn't getting the common fan to like them (ala Gonzaga)? It's because our fans are so whiney and combative.
I have yet to hear one compelling argument as to why we should be upset with Sean. So here's your chance. Make the case. I expect the silence to be deafening.

Am I supposed to be upset because the media reported that "Sean was leaning toward staying" and then Sean took the job? How dare he! The nerve os Sean Miller! Why can't get control the media! AZ should be placed on probation for that alone!

Some of you feel that it wasn't a smart move for him to take the job. He does. Deal with it. It is more than ok to be frustrated with the situation. It fact, it wouldn't be ok to not be upset about it.

However, to be a whiney little girl, and disrespect a man who has done nothing but good things for us is both unintelligent and embarrassing."

Love the Gonzaga section. Not a shred of evidence to support his claim, but then that's what we've come to expect of this sanctimonious loser. Who knew Xavier wasn't getting the common fan? And who knew it was because of Gladden guy?

The Artist loves to think of himself as some Guardian of the Xavier Image. But ya know he may be right about this board costing us the common fan. I'm sure there are basketball fans who come to this board and are repulsed by his priggish posts.

I emailed Mike Bobinski about GladdenGuy and MOR and how their posts have stalled the program's development. Here's his reply:

"Fred, always great to hear from a devoted fan. Listen Fred, those damn basketball boards have kept us from the Final Four. I don't know how we made two Elite 8's and a Sweet 16 when I'm constantly having to battle our immature fans. I don't know how we got that arena and made the Forbes list when posters are calling our ex-coaches names.

Just last week CBS backed out of a national game with us because they'd read some things on those boards. They said they were going with Gonzaga and that it had nothing to do with us getting blown out by Duke. Fred, I've grown exhausted and feel like Sisyphus.
Fortunately we have The Artist to counter these destructive forces."

Having lived outside of Cincinnati for the last 11 years, I can comfortably say that 99.99% of basketball fans out here have no idea what Xavier fans are like. We do not have ANY reputation (for good or bad). Most people don't even know where Xavier is located.

Thank you Fred for finally pointing out that it is I and Gladden who can take full credit for stalling the program's development. I wear the tag with pride, although in dishonor of Beaknose I will stomp on any pink OSU hat that I see.

And as for Bobo. I'll just have to throw the immature tag right back at him. Only someone so immature could be naive enough to believe that trusting in a coach's statements about sticking around, treating a coach like a king even in the dark days and supporting him with all the resources possible would be paid back with loyalty?

Can't we all just get along? It seems like everyone is venting their anger/frustration/disappointment about Sean leaving on each other. So many arguments have cropped up on the board in the past couple of weeks that I feel I'm back on MM.
