UMass lands 4-star recruit

Terrell Vinson committed to UMass after being released from his LOI by Loyola-Marymount. Here's his rivals page:

UC was in the running for this guy. I am glad he went to the A-10 rather than to Mick.

Hopefully this starts a trend of Umass getting some decent talent and actually making a tournament once in awhile.

says here that Vinson chose Umass over maryland and cincinnati. That is a good pull for Kellogg and hopefully he is able to stay at Umass for a while to keep them competetive.

As a side note, Vinson's high school coach was former Temple standout Mark Karcher. While obviously he didn't sway this kid to Philly, he possibly sold him on the A10.
