Looks like Dayton will get a solid transfer pick-up:

Josh Parker would be a solid addition for them. With the Milli Vanilli twins graduating next year he will be around to give comp to Juwan Staten for 2010-2011.

Drake, the darling of the MVC a few years back. Coach went to Providence (Tom Davis' son Keno i think).

Yes Drake is in Des Moines. A partner of mine from Des Moines has been a Drake season ticket holder for 25+ years (Center Court second row) and had the following to say about the new UD Transfer:
He is a very inconsistent player and not sorry to see him leave. He can hit the three point shot and then turn the ball over twice by trying to do too much.
Drake has the best recruiting class of the Missouri Valley this year so we will see how Mark Phelps does.

Wow! UD got a transfer from Drake (the college not the explorer)? The same Drake that was 16-15 this year with an RPI in the mid 100's?

I thought Drake was a hospice and rehab center on Galbraith?
Oh the possibilities are endless, but we also took a transfer from Tulsa last year....he's turning out to be pretty damn good
So does this mean they have passed us as a program again?

Man, Des Moines must be an awful place if Dayton is seen as a step up.

I have relatives that live in Des Moines. It is a very nice, very clean little city. I would definitely prefer Des Moines over Dayton. Evidently hygiene isn't important to this kid.

Agreed. A very nice, clean place from what I recall. Not rundown like Dayton.

I don't know how we could have passed you as a program if you were never above us. You arrogant Xavier fans think you are something special do you? How can you say you are a better program than us. You must have forgotten how good we were 100 years ago. We were freaking amazing!!!
I can't say the same for Eggzavier. We continue to get elite level recruits. Josh Parker is a BIG TIME 2 STAR recruit. He almost got an offer from SMU out of high school. More pain coming for the Musketeers. He has an entire year to grow out his mandatory Dayton Flyer point guard dread locks while he sits out.
