Per Jeff Goodmans' blog. Used a lot of X's recruiting budget to land this kid.

Sean Miller has wasted little time at Arizona.

Less than a week since he took the job, the new Wildcats had man has received a commitment from the top-rated big man left on the board – 6-foot-10, 240-pound Kyryl Natayazhko.

hopefully since solomon hill (SF) just re-committed to AZ Parrom won't be as tempted to follow miller. I think parrom stays if mack is the coach. he knows there'll be plenty of PT at the SF spot next year and with all the other weapons he will have time to develop without a ton of pressure.

When Lute Olson Retired we lost all these guys below

Abdul Gaddy #13 overall (Rivals)
Solomon Hill #28 overall (Rivals)
Mike Moser #83 overall (Rivals)
Jeff Withey #36 overall (Rivals) Transfered

Now that we have a Coach Again we were able to get Solomon Hill back so Far. ANd hopefully get Renardo Sidney to leave USC #10...

I won't worry too much about weatherspoon,latham but maybe worry about Parrom ,,,,,

For the Most Part UofA goes for Different Recruits than Xavier, In all Honesty UofA fans are used to HAving Multiple NBA Draft Picks playing for the TEam, JOrdan Hill is leaving and Projected to be #2 Overall Pick in the NBA Draft and Budinger is leaving projected any were from #12-24 PIck....

So Miller won't take all of your old Recruits, he will try to get back some of out old ones like he allready has with Solomon Hill...

Although Parrom seems like he wants to go UofA now for some reason..

I believe Xavier can block where signed and current players are released to.

I seriously doubt that X would ever stop a kid from leaving if that's what they wanted, or prevent them from pursuing whatever it is they wish. I hope Kevin understands he signed with a great university where he'll receive great support, a great education, compete at the highest level, win championships, etc, etc. I'm sure he's anxiously waiting for news of the new coach. More than even us.

Parrom has not said he wanted to go to Arizona and I don't think it is an option regardless. First of all don't expect sean to go after or except signed Xavier players or current players and I believe Xavier can block where signed and current players are released to.

Says he has medium interest in Arizona but no Offer... If he were to get an Offer from Emanuel Richardson or someone then switch would be likely if he plans on playing in the NBA ... I don't know how good he is or if he is a probable NBA player, so i can't really say..

I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, and then you had to drop your stupid NBA comment. NOTHING at Xavier would prevent Kevin from reaching the NBA, and NOTHING at Arizona would make it more likely.

You're clearly very smart. Xavier doesn't ever put Forwards in the NBA do they? I mean, Tyrone Hill, Aaron Williams, Derek Strong, James Posey, Brian Grant, David West (and soon to be Derrick Brown) must all be shooting guards right? I didn't even mention guys like Braggs and Sykes that had a cup of coffee.

It would show really bad form for UA/Miller to pursue players that had committed to X. On the other hand, I read recently that Calipari took a player who had previously verballed/signed with Memphis, so I guess now that the precedent has been set anything's possible. Good luck getting the players that had previously committed to UA.

Coincidentally, I just dropped off a majestic entity in the toilet. Unfortunately, it had physical attributes as well.

I'm starting to think that we're going to get a coach completely out of left field.

PAC 10 teams don't get more exposure than X. Every single X game was available nationally last season. It's essentially been like that for 5 years and will continue into the future. It's part of Xaviers commitment to the program, that ensures our players get the exposure they deserve.

There isn't any "X" games on TV on the West side of the Country only some games on ESPN,, Just like all the PAC 10 games are on TV here in the west,, But i doubt they are on TV there unless you have "DIrect TV" or FSN

Another thing to consider is "Ratings" if " X" is playing some scrub team Atlantic 10 who is going to watch.... Atlantic 10 seems like Mountain West Conference to me...

I live in California. I watch a LOT of college basketball, including every X game. I'm completely familiar with Arizona's exposure, or lack thereof. Gee, I wonder if NBA scouts have similiar packages that I have? What does a scout do?

it's hard to scout Mid-MAjor you never know is this guy good or is playing inferior competition making him look good (or better than he is)

Well you did beat #12 Memphis* as your only ranked team win of the season

the Problem is UCLA ASU and WASHINGTON were all ranked teams in PAC ten so that means at least have to play each of those teams twice then there is the PAC 10 tournament

plus OOC games of teams like gonzaga ..... The reality is X only played 2 ranked teams all year thats kind of wild,,, now i know why they call it Mid-MAjor

Furthermore, there were a number of teams X played (and beat) that were ranked at points of the season, including the end. Per usual, the myopic media didn't appreciate how good Missouri and Louisiana State were. And of course, you didn't bother to mention Butler or Duke, or the teams played in the tourney. What is your fascination with the term mid-major? Are you really that insecure, or just an asshole? So far, from what I've seen from the UA visitors here, Miller's being underpaid. I pity the fool.

Of course, Arizona fans come here from a poor educational background where they've developed preconceived notions why X is inferior, but then get their asses handed to them as they learn none of what they've been taught is supported by facts. It really is sad how the educational system has failed these people. And now they want raise student tuition. They really should be offering refunds.

XHoops readers, this isn't true. On FSN West, Pac 10 games are only shown if the Lakers are not playing a home game. When you factor in the pregame and postgame shows, this prevents a lot of college games from being shown. As of right now there's no Pac 10 network to focus exclusively on their sports.

Arizona might get a extra CBS date, but other than that their TV deal is pretty similar to ours. Very good, but not the level of an ACC/ good Big East team. In terms of exposure, X at least gets some secondhand benefits from the ESPN east coast bias. This is big too, considering how Arizona's hiring barely made a ripple compared to Kentucky's...

AZ games are shown on FSNAZ and all those guys do is gripe about it. Do nothing but whine about not being on ESPN, then trash them.

They specialize in beating down 'mid-majors'. Even though they can't beat certain ones. Those? They just refuse to ever play them again and say they cheat.

Point Guard U is the reject site but the other board isn't any better.

Don't you guys ban posters? If ever one should be banned it's that clown.
