View Full Version : What Miller Should Have Said

It's been a week; I know we should "be over it." I have accepted that Miller left for the money. I have even accepted that he wants to coach on a "big time stage" despite all his previous remarks about X, mid-major, non-BCS, blah blah blah. What I don't accept is his utter lack of acknowledgment that Xavier University positioned him for this advancement.

I would have had some respect for him if he took the opportunity in his "farewell" presser to thank, by name, Father Graham and Mike Bobinski for the faith and trust they put in him for five years. He should have thanked his staff for their hard work. He should have thanked the students, alum and fans for their support, (lacking though it might be in his definition). Most importantly, he should have thanked his players for working so damn hard for him and playing his way. He should have said how proud he was of those young men and wished them well for next year.

Well maybe he didn't feel those things so he didn't say them. What do I know - it still pisses me off! I need a new coach to help me move on!

PS: By not talking privately with his players before the announcement went public, he pretty much shit on them like Matta did in '04.

I honestly hate Sean Miller. I don't care who says that I should be grateful and respect Sean Miller for his accomplishments and dedication during his 5 years at X. I don't care what people say about him not being able to pass up a great deal for his family blah blah blah. what a joke. This is not about his family. His wife never looked at the campus or Tucson. Oh my gosh, can his boys go to college now?

His move was about "believing" Arizona is a much better job, and lots of green. Pure and simple.
F*** Sean Miller. He treated Bobinski and his players like crap.
I hope he fails miserably at Arizona.
I hope his marriage fails.
I hope the raccoons gnawl on his face while he sleeps on a cactus drinking cheap gin because Arizona was again only invited to the CBI tournament.
Go Ben Howland and Tim Floyd.

Chris Mack and Xavier University.

I'm happy that gladdenguy has come to terms with Miller leaving.

Wow! We westsiders just don't let things go, do we Gladdenguy? I thought I was still upset about what he had to say in his press conferences, but I'm not sure I can reach your level of indignation. Still though, I feel pretty much the same way, except I hope his marriage doesn't fail. That seems a little harsh, and unfair to his kids. Otherwise, I'm totally behind you on this :D

I just hate the fact there was a press conference for him after he dumped us. I will never understand that, and never understand what Bobo was thinking.

I mean it was a business decision. No wait, it was a personal decision. Whatever, it was a decision to move on and the moment he said yes to Arizona, we didn't need to hear anything from him again. Sorry Sean, you don't get love and expect that love to continue.

Seriously, he's the competition now. We are going up against him. One day we will play him. We will win. And the whole thing will be nice.
