View Full Version : I've never really liked Miller

I don't think anyone has criticized Miller in the past (including questioning his character) more than me (both guyfawkes38 and my previously banned name, lasser83).
This thread is just one example:

Lets be honest now. The praise that Miller received on this board for the last couple of years was out of hand.
It was a sad day for X basketball. But it feels kind of good to see some posters come back to reality.

My favorite line from that thread almost a year ago:
The bottom line: IF A PLAYER COMMITS TO A SCHOOL AND A COACH, SHOULDN'T THE SCHOOL AND COACH COMMMIT TO THE PLAYER.
yes, i'm awesome

I was hoping no one would respond, lol.
It had to be killing you Guy that it took an hour and a half for anyone to comment.

I was expecting some rep points from this thread.
you guys are intimidated by me.
Yes, it's true. It feels pretty awesome to read some posters go from, "I love Sean Miller so much that I wish I was a woman so I could have his babies" to "Sean Miller is the devil".
you guys are intimidated by me.
Not me. I think you're a fucking idiot.

One year ago today I posted this (http://www.xavierhoops.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4050):
PLEASE-Don't take your Kids to Cintas
Before I began my rant, I must admit one thing: I don't like kids. I have a dream of creating the 51st state which would outlaw those under the age of 18. If a woman got pregnant, too bad, you have to leave.
Just think of what a paradise that would be. One would not have to pay taxes for crappy schools and their useless, whining teachers. There would be no censorships on tv/radio/films. No crying babies in church. No damn school buses on the road. WHAT A PARADISE!!!
Please, don't take your kids to Cintas. It's nice to bond with your kids. But don't do it around me. It's painful to hear the kids talk (no basketball IQ, stupid questions). I hate having to dodge kids on the concourse level too. I bet they don't want to be at the games either. They would rather do the stupid, useless crap that kids do.
It's hard to overestimate the significance of this post. Best of all, it shined a light on a neglected topic (kid behavior at Cintas).
This year, whenever I saw a parent yell at his kid to behave at a game, I'd like to think that maybe this post deserves an assist for that.

Totally wrong once again but you're good for that. I know you're not serious but I am. I started taking my son to X games as a baby. My son is 12 and he has probably been to close to 100 XU games. He's a rabid X fan because of it. He despises UD and UC thanks to the X experience and my brainwashing. When he was 5 years old, he stopped asking for food at the games and paid attention. When he was six, he questioned why Skip didn't take a player out of the game early in the first half because the player picked up his 3rd foul (true story and I looked at him like WTF?) Hopefully one day, he will take his son to games and I will be proud.

Ya, I agree. My parents took me to games when I was a kid. I LOVED going. I LOVE Xavier basketball and I have my grandpa and my parents to thank for that.
Taking a baby my be a little extreme however. ;)

Personally, I sometimes act like a kid when I'm at the games.

He probably wondered why he was watching a Wake Forest game.

Well, the coach may be wrong but the story is true. I was trying to guess who was coaching. He was around 5 or 6 years old when he said it. Maybe it was Matta.
It was one of those moments when I said this kid understands basketball.
