Yes, the obvious reasons are plain enough for even a naïve old fan of Xavier basketball like me to see—The Big 6 conference stage and a better chance to win a national championship than at Xavier. And of course, anywhere from $15-million to $18-million over seven years with $1.5 million in signing bonus.
