Miller will make $1.6 million per year and receive an extra $400,000 per season from Nike and media contracts during a five-year deal. UA athletic director Jim Livengood said “we’re working through the issue” of adding an extra two years.

The Arizona Board of Regents does not allow contracts stretching longer than five years. Livengood said he would try to give Miller a two-year extension after two years.
If he remains the UA coach for seven years, Miller will receive a one-time payout of $2.1 million. Miller will receive a $1 million signing bonus immediately.

He will receive two courtesy cars and 20 men’s basketball season tickets, plus eight football season tickets, four softball season passes, four baseball season passes, four volleyball season passes and 30 private jet hours per year. Fifteen people will have their expenses paid for NCAA tournament trips.

This is all per the Arizona Daily Star.

To the Around the NCAA board.

Anyway... nice perks for him. His agent/lawyer/rep team did a great job getting him as much as possible. Still doesn't make me feel any different.

So assuming they extend him to 7 years at another $2m per year (including the Nike money), that's a total of $17.1m over 7 years or $2.44m per year. Disgusting.

you want disgusting, according to the contract highlights the buyout due Xavier is only 400k not the two million number. Was the 800k he was making here rumoured to be offered as high as 1.5 mil include his endorsement and media deals? If they didn't the two jobs may not have been as far apart as we are led to believe. The rest of the terms look pretty standard. Oh the graduation rate he needs for incentive money to kick in a measley 42%.

If he truly could have had 1.5 mill plus endorsemts and incentives here vs 1.6 mil plus incentives there then I am feeling worse that it may have been the whole bcs thing afterall despite all the lip service to the contrary.

Nauseating.

Sean was "unmovable" until AZ moved some money his way.
