I'm pretty sure after this our boosters in America's most prosperous mid sized city can fend off St. Johns, Depaul, Northwestern, Iowa State, etc for BG.

Udump extended Midget during the tourney after they kicked Thugs to the curb. The funny thing is a Dayton alum told me she heard if Gregory didn't get the NCAAs this season, they were going to fire him.

I think X is screwed. We could easily be the next version of Arizona...but to a lesser degree.

I told your fellow UD posters three years ago that the guy was no good. Thomas had it down to UD, IUPUI, High Point and Evansville. But your fellow posters just wouldn't listen.

He could have been a good PG in a more half court system. He just can't get up and down the floor and defend well enough to play in this system. He was overtaken by a lifetime SG in Perry because Mickey can run and defend quite well. The writing was on the wall when we realized how good Lowery is. Thomas was going to get very few minutes next year, and with Staten coming in 2010, he would still be a reserve as a senior. A smart business decision for him, so to speak. He's still going to graduate, but now he can play a significant role for two seasons.
I like him. Never seemed to whine about his PT, just practiced and played all out with every minute he had. I hope he succeeds where ever he goes. The effort he gave in the X home game this year was incredible. That's his legacy at Dayton. We probably fall apart and lose that game without him stepping up.
There's also a rumor that Searcy is on the fence about leaving. That one would sting a bit, but I won't blame Devin if he does go. He's behind Huelsman for some reason, and will soon be competing with Benson and Kavanaugh for minutes, and he's probably lose to both guys. Kavanaugh is going to be a good one. Devin has a lot of potential and will succeed, be it at UD or elsewhere.
Well, if anyone needs more nausea, there's Dayton talk here...
